Executive Doctorate of Business Administration
The Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (E-DBA) degree was developed to meet the demands of experienced business executives and industry leaders, while challenging you to create new knowledge that transforms the world of business. The UBIS E-DBA leverages seminar-based learning to provide a broad theoretical perspective of current business issues as well as a strong foundation in applied research and analysis, and highly flexible, supportive and immersive dissertation track.
The E-DBA is extremely well structured yet highly flexible. Delivered with the demands and experiences of business executives in mind. While the standard DBA takes on a more traditional lecture-based core curriculum structure, the Executive DBA provides candidates a unique opportunity to become immersed in that same important developmental core curriculum via interactive seminars. Allowing candidates to prepare for, and structure their dissertation. This seminar-based approach is designed to help executives discover, define and find the type of learning and support unique to their professional, academic, and focused dissertation topic.
Ideal Candidates
To qualify for the E-DBA, candidates should have at least 15 years of professional business experience in senior level management and leadership roles. Candidates with at least 7 years professional experience and an undergraduate degree in a business-related will also be considered. Candidates will be required to submit a letter of recommendation.
Program Objectives
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to identify problems related to U.S. and foreign businesses and to respond artfully to these challenges. In addition, graduates will be empowered with the knowledge and skills required to work as leaders in global business organizations, nongovernmental organizations, and international entities.

Research and Dissertation Overview
The UBIS EDBA research and thesis portion of the program consists primarily of individual research, under the supervision of qualified professors who provide a broad range of expertise as well as an international reputation.
At UBIS, every selected student will receive rigorous and tailor-made coaching by our doctoral faculty.
